Rabea Rogge is an adventurer, researcher, and astronaut of the Fram2 mission. In her book A (little) Space for Everyone - An Astronaut's Thoughts on Robots, Exploration and the Meaning of It All, she takes the reader on a brief journey through time and space, from fearless pioneers of the past to robotic explorers of tomorrow, with Fram2 right in the middle. Curiosity drives us and has fueled unlikely expeditions: across the ice, into the deep oceans, and to the moon. The Fram2 mission was one such expedition, during which, for the first time, a spacecraft with a human crew travelled across both polar regions of Earth. Join Rebea for her book launch, where she will talk about science, shifts in perspective, courage and mistakes, and also about how the profession of astronaut is opening up to private people. She will talk about how we can design a robotic mission and create our own utopia. She invites you to marvel, reflect and dream with. And to embark on your own voyage of discovery. This event will be in English. Rabea Rogge (1996) is an electrical engineer, robotic researcher, polar scientist and private astronaut who flew on the SpaceX Crew Dragon Resilience, as part of the Fram2 mission. Rabea is the first female German astronaut, and she is currently a PhD Candidate at NTNU. Venue: Sellanraa The event is free, but registration is required due to limited capacity.
