Day 2 of Black History Month Norway / Against Benevolent Hands: Debts, Inheritance, and Reparations September 12, 13:00 - 15:00 at Kunsthall Trondheim Mediation Room Join for a conversation between writer and designer Alice Grandoit-Šutka, co-founder of Deem Journal and cultural anthropologist Dubie Toa-Kwapong, and artist Jelsen Lee Innocent. The discussion explores debts, inheritance, and reparations alongside colonial legacies, memory, and Black futures, in dialogue with Martin's film and Jelsen Lee Innocent's exhibition The World, The Flesh and The Devil, on view at Kunsthall Trondheim until September 27, 2026 In addition to the conversation Raul Andres Galvan Jean, will present a video montage of Haitian music. Samtalen tar opp temaer som gjeld, arv og reparasjon i lys av koloniale ettervirkninger, minne og svarte framtider, i dialog med Martins film og Jelsen Lee Innocents utstilling The World, The Flesh and The Devil, som vises på Kunsthall Trondheim frem til 27. september 2026. I tilleg til samtalen Raul Andres Galvan Jean skal presentere videomontasje om haitisk musikk.
