At the Arctic Cathedral, you can experience half an hour of organ music almost every Friday at 17:30, usually performed by the cathedral’s organist, Thorsten Ahlrichs. His programmes feature beloved works by Felix Mendelssohn and Flor Peeters, as well as his own arrangements of music by contemporary composers such as Max Richter and Ludovico Einaudi. He also explores the rich sound world of the Baroque, including variations on a German evening hymn by Georg Böhm.
