MIRAGE Opening Night On Wednesday 7 October, MIRAGE opens at Oslo’s historic National Gallery. For one night, some of its galleries will once again be filled with art – this time through moving images, music and installations. Each year, MIRAGE moves its Opening Night to a new location in Oslo. We seek out spaces that can be transformed and offer cinema a different setting – places where a screening becomes more than simply the film on the screen. Previous editions have opened in a disused cinema, a former factory and on a boat, each transformed through film, scenography and music. This year, we move into the National Gallery, filling some of its historic rooms with moving images, sound and music. Doors open on at 18:00, and the programme begins at 18:30.
