Sunday 13 September, 10:00–17:00: Production of lime and brick panels. About the Workshop: As part of Oslo Architecture Triennale 2026, studio dreiSt invites participants to a three-day workshop exploring coccio pesto, an ancient Roman technique based on lime and crushed brick.Together, we will produce lime and brick panels for the surface of a communal table that will serve as a gathering point during Oslo Architecture Triennale. Participants will learn about locally sourced lime and work hands-on with a mixture of brick sand and lime. Pieces of brick will be cut and assembled on the panels, creating a surface that reconnects the table with the materials of Sofienberg Church. The workshop is open to everyone. No previous experience is required, although practical experience is welcome. You can participate for one, two or all three days. To experience the full process, we recommend joining for more than one day. Contributors: studio dreiSt (Austria) – Martin Kohlbauer, Luisa Zwetkow and Sophie Coqui. Practical information: There will be a lunch break each day. Please wear work clothes and shoes that can get dirty. Maximum 10 participants per day. When registering, you can select which day or days you would like to attend.
