Turn your quirky hobby into a Japanese anime series! Students get to learn valuable improv tools from anime: dynamic group work, character development, narrative broken into little bites, fun over-the-top reactions and dramatic action sequences. Then, we’ll create a show! Let’s improvise a story as our little hero learns poker/frisbee/Jenga, facing one baddie to the next to become a champion, and learning hard life lessons along the way. No Japanese anime knowledge required! But it can be a bonus. This workshop has a showcase performance attached to it, where you can display what you learned during the day. The workshop lasts from 11.00 to 16.00. The showcase will be in the first show on Saturday.
