Stròk 🤩 spelar for det meste folkrock, men det kjem gjerne ein vals eller masurka om steminga i lokalet tilseier at det er ein god idè. Bandet har ein del eigenkomponerte låtar, men spelar også mykje materiale folk vil kjenna att, som låtar av The Pogues, The Waterboys, Flogging Molly, Dropkick Murphy med fleire. Det vil òg bli spelt kjende låtar i ny drakt, gjendikta til norsk, som til dømes Ess i Spar (Ace of Spades -Mötorhead), Feil Setting (White Wedding - Billy Idol), Siste Dans (Bad Romance - Lady Gaga), Berre sjao (Bella Ciao) med fleire. I tillegg til eit stødig komp frå trommer, bass og akkustisk gitar, strøymer det på med tonar frå toradar, banjo, mandolin, fløyte og munnspel. Oftast er det høg stemning, store smil og mykje «armar og bein» når Strók spelar. Bandet plar seia, mest på spøk, men også litt på alvor, at dei er store i Sørfjorden og London. Dei har ein årleg tur til London på ein fast turne på nokre kneiper i aust-London i samband med St. Patrik’s Day 17. mars. 🙂 Velkommen til en musikalsk aften på Dyvekes Viseklubb ❤️ Strók 🤩 mostly plays folk rock, but there is often a waltz or mazurka if the mood in the venue suggests it is a good idea. The band has some self-composed songs, but also plays a lot of material that people will recognize, such as songs by The Pogues, The Waterboys, Flogging Molly, Dropkick Murphy and many others. There will also be played well-known songs in a new guise, rewritten into Norwegian, such as Ess i Spar (Ace of Spades -Mötorhead), Feil Setting (White Wedding - Billy Idol), Siste Dans (Bad Romance - Lady Gaga), Berre sjao (Bella Ciao) and many others. In addition to a steady accompaniment from drums, bass and acoustic guitar, there are also notes from toradar, banjo, mandolin, flute and harmonica. There is usually a high mood, big smiles and a lot of "arms and legs" when Strók plays. The band often says, mostly jokingly, but also a little seriously, that they are big in Sørfjorden and London. They have an annual trip to London on a regular tour of some pubs in East London in connection with St. Patrick’s Day on March 17th. 🙂 Welcome to a musical evening at Dyvekes Viseklubb ❤️
